Description
New Life was founded 29 years ago by Trevor Goodall after his twin sons, Joshua and Samuel, were born prematurely at 24 weeks and tragically died a few days later. What began as a modest charity golf day, raising funds for The Great Western Hospital in Swindon has since grown into a significant force, raising £1.75 million to date for neonatal units UK wide.
This funding has provided essential, lifesaving equipment, helping thousands of premature and very sick babies.
New Life frequently responds to urgent requests from neonatal consultants and nurses for critical equipment not always available through the NHS. It has also sponsored training programs and provided essential items for families, including specialised blankets, baby clothing, and breast pumps.
New Life remains driven by the knowledge that supplying neonatal units with the latest equipment gives premature and very sick babies the best start in life.
